Ah, a very familiar sight! This looks exactly what it's like here, too.

Except we're getting a cold front and I woke up to several cm of snow on the ground this morning. It was 20C two days ago.

I like the natural air conditioning effect that happens when air passes over a snowbank. I'm thinking we should try to keep a few snowbanks around through the summer.

Hey, W.C. - they tell me that that they're supposed to have at least 25 cm by tomorrow in my old stomping grounds, back your direction -- but that it's wet, so it'll probably melt soon.

And Aggie: Great idea! And carbon-footprint friendly! What about quilting some ESI Snowdrift Cosies®...?

Good idea - how about some kind of Adopt-a-Snowbank scheme? Each adopter could take it upon themself to protect their snowbank from the ravages of summer.
