Good news from the salt mine

Neither this site nor 5M's site are blocked by the firewall here at the salt mine. Alas, no new traffic from 5M.

I have to say, I prefer the immediacy and crispness of her daily reports to the Thera "fiction". I wonder how she made out on her thesis chapter last week.

And how preparations for the symposium are going.

What do you think about all this, Agatha?

Where is she just as we begin watching?
At first I thought the fiction writing was too descriptive, too pretty, compared to her natural state. Then I grew into it. But then I didn't think it realistic that Ben would fall to his legs and say he loves her . . .

I'm glad to hear you didn't find the falling down bit realistic. Because my reaction to it was, "oh, Christ, there's another thing that women want I'd never be able to bring myself to do."

Mind you, it seemed like something our ethics consultant would be in favour of.

And, I suspect the main fictional elements of the story are the names.
