Dolls and a Mayor

Cedric, meet my Peruvian dolls. They are over 45 years old, hand knit and stuffed with llama wool.

Knitters, click on the image to enlarge and take note of the incredible workmanship and attention to detail.

On a completely different note, I stood a few inches away from our Mayor today. He is definitely not prettier in person. Aggie asked me what he smells like...

Pretty dolls. I LOL'd about the Mayor comments. So you weren't impressed with 'ol Lex Luthor? ;)

let me guess... like a rotting cabbage head? sour milk? bad breath? exhaust fumes?

IO: did you come across any shams made from llama wool? You could have brought one back for the mayor, who I believe I read is expecting to see one at his trial?

Woodsy, these wonderful dolls are strikingly similar to the ancient ones Cedric and I saw today in Lima´s Museo Larco. Of certain interest to you, we also gazed upon a piece of cloth with a world-record count of 398 threads per square inch. Who says things are better today? Speaking of which, Cedric blushed mightily while touring the gallery of erotic sculpture. Many of the pieces were about his size but their, um, appendages were not.

Anonymous: Sham wow, indeed!
