Who knew the U.S. election would be fought not only in Ohio and Florida, but on Bay Street in our own Centretown? Perhaps, just weeks ago, colourful Dion and Harper posters hung in rowhouse windows somewhere in Washington, driving a most Canadian wedge between unparliamentary neighbours.

I like the colour scheme
The McCain Palin sign belongs to my friend Ashley, who dressed as Sarah Palin for Halloween.
On the other side of the street, someone has a Hillary Clinton sign up.
Tonight, Ashley is planning to weat her Clinton shirt with an Obama button.
Perhaps Ashley should also don a pantsuit.
We shall see what fashion choices she makes.
Election-watching will be happening at the Fox and Feather on Elgin Street - in case any nearby irregulars want to crash the place with Ron Paul signs...
