Once again, the Senators are on the verge of being the top playoff veterans with the lowest golf handicap. The only solace I have is that those miserable Toronto Maple Leafs have been on the fairways for the last three weeks.

Chair, correct me if I'm wrong, but I sense some small, um, bitterness here. Are you by any chance paddling about in the losing end of a sports pool?
No money, just pride. However, as PhilG has pointed out to me on the backchannel, the St. Louis Blues seem to hold the dubious NHL record for choking. Every season between 1980 and 2005, the team made the play-offs only to never get to the Cup finals.
Please don't let this turn into a hoser hockey blog!!! I love the increased commentary, and the mammas and poppas, but i don't wanna hear about how crappy the sens playoff record is here!!!
Bah, don't listen to me. If i were irregular, i'd just write about how i miss going to my favorite elgin street dining locations every 2nd night due to concievable home improvement nightmares. That'd get boring real fast.
Would that include the eye under the bandage, Aggie? Or are you amnesiac about that, too?
