No Muse is Good Muse?

So we're in the interesting position, to which Chair alludes in his last entry, of being metabloggers with no muse postings from which to make our airy departures. (Metamuse-als? Er, sorry. Perhaps 'aMusements' is a less fibrous term.)

You're right, Chair. If it were M. causing this, we'd be hearing about it in spades, diamonds, hearts and clubs.

That means one of (at least) a couple of possibilities: either her Lasik surgery has become problematic -- unlikely at this late date, but still in the realm of possibility -- or the lcp is, in his all-consuming way, sweeping her off of her feet, filling her life to overflowing, and with his dislike of becoming muse material, leaving my fuzzy blog-butt hangin' in the wind. I leave it to each of you to create your own character-appropriate metaphors.

However, it also would suggest that she may be happy. Her need to post, and the length of a given post, often correlates with her angst levels, but not always.

And of course, the entry of some other factor is also possible. As practiced as we are, we still can't know everything. Is there any way to discern whether an "X" factor arises? I'd guess that this is Agatha's specialty, but with such a paucity of evidence as yet, we may need to marshal every little grey cell at our collective disposal.... but the truth is out there, somewhere.

You have a point, WW. But since we still feel we must abide by our Heisenberg Directive, may I suggest you post the comment to her blog, if you feel so inclined. But don't do it on our account, as this would violate the spirit of the directive. Being the social scientists that we are, we have to suffer for our research.

Yes, Westorowag, between Heisenberg's principle and the Ethics Committee Guidelines, communicating with 5M is a tricky business.

I don't know anything about a desire to reveal identity, but for Heisenberg info click here and for the Ethics Committee Guidelines, anyone will tell you that I'm the one who has the poorest grasp on them, but they seem to be a blend of this and this.
